The quality of any learning program depends upon the quality of the staff. Our teachers have passed a careful screening and evaluation of professional credentials where appropriate. All of our teachers and aides meet Ohio Department of job and Family Services requirements. All staff members are required to involve themselves in a continuing program of in-service education.
A Staff member trained in Child Abuse Recognition, First Aid, CPR and Management of Communicable Diseases is on the premises during the hours ABC Learning Adventures is in operation. Our teachers also complete ongoing training and have taken the following Courses:
- Learning Every Day Through the Senses; The Juggling Act: Schedules, Routines and Transitions; Phonological Awareness: The Connection of Sounds to Reading; Challenging Behavior: Reveal the Meaning; Learning Environment: How Classroom Arrangement Impacts Behavior; Building Positive Relationships; The Juggling Act: Schedules, Routines and Transitions; Beyond Centers and Circle Time; Building Strong Relationships with Families; Teaching with Intention
Our staff members strive to make each child feel loved, secure, and safe. It is their goal to allow children to grow the emotional, social, and spiritual skills necessary for their educational journey.
